I don’t normally leave food reviews but I can’t believe this place isn’t busier than it is! I’ve been here several times and it’s consistently good. The food is solid and better than several other popular places I’ve tried. Definitely get the Cho Cho’s!!!! Give them a shot if you’re in the

The egg rolls I ordered were very greasy. I ordered crawfish fried rice and they put artificial crab meat-in the rice which was very tasteless. There wasn’t very many crawfish in the rice. The artificial crab meat was horrible .

I have only eaten the Honey Chicken here, and every time I've had it, the food tasted good. The rice and noodles were also good. I would recommend this restaurant solely off the Honey Chicken.Parking: Shares parking with Rouses grocery store

Food was decent. Service was good and food didn't take long. We ordered bourbon chicken and vegetable lo mein combination plate, bbq ribs combination plate and small shrimp fried rice. Paid about $37. Food was hot. Lo mein was good, bourbon chicken was flavorful. My biggest issue was the plates had too much juice in them from the meat so the book does were drenched in meat sauce. Shrimp fried rice was cooked well but needed seasoning.

I was very skeptical about trying this place over some of the "bad reviews" but it's so close to my work that I had to give it a try. I am very impressed with the flavor of the General's Chicken. The beef Lo Mein is very good and flavorful as well. The order was placed in the store and I was heading back to work in less than 10 minutes with piping hot plates. The atmosphere can be a little uninviting, but definitely recommend giving it a shot if you're in the area and looking for reasonably priced Chinese takeout!

Don't sleep on this little gem next to Rouses in Gentilly. It is the American version of Asian takeout. My family enjoyed the shrimp with garlic sauce (tasty but could use a bit more red pepper flakes or spice to balance the sweetness but the jumbo shrimp was plentiful), hot and sour soup (definitely a must have), kung pao chicken, Hunan chicken, and the chicken mei fun noodles (perfect sized small noodles ideal for children). The dinners came with white or pork fried rice and a very yummy egg roll! All of this for less than $65 including a $10 tip. Currently available for take out or delivery only. The entire counter is is protected in plexiglass which I pray was only installed due to the pandemic because i cant stand a business thats wants to profit off a majority black community from behind bullet proof glass (if you get my drift), but i digress. The food is very good and affordable considering todays rising costs of everything. I'll definitely return for that shrimp with garlic sauce, egg rolls, and hot and sour soup. No pics yall...we was HUNGRY

General Tso Chicken and orange chicken were delicious! Everything tasted fresh. We are officially switching over to this place as our go-to Gentilly Chinese restaurant.

A friend wanted to go there instead of the local Chinese Tea Garden that I and a coworker frequented weekly. I only wished we could have taken our friend to the other place. Not at all pleased with the food. Sorry
