A small sushi restaurant near Xavier's campus, I've previously been before. While they do have traditional offerings, their specialty rolls are where it's at. I was starving so I went a little crazy this time and ordered 2 specialty rolls plus 2 traditional, plus miso and the snow crab app. The miso was standard but good, but the crab app is really flavorful, no Krab here. All around a very solid spot for hibachi and sushi. This isn't the kind of place that is going to wow you with surprises, but everything that I've had from Asuka has been good. The hibachi chicken is tender with a light and flavorful sauce that keeps the meal from being too heavy. I went for the sushi. It was ok. The special rolls were good, but not that special in my opinion. I also ordered the jalapeno appetizer, it was good just not Great. Overall I probably would choose an alternate for sushi next time ( note, I drove out of my way to go there). I'll have to give the hibachi a shot and report back.
