We thoroughly enjoyed all the trays we got at Ayu Bakehouse on our recent trip to New Orleans! The staff is very friendly, and it’s clear they love the place and the products they produce!
Of all the items we tried I would have to say that the one that was hardest for me to share with my family was the muffuletta sticks!
In a city full of amazing bakeries, Ayu may be the best! Their flakey, melt in your mouth pastries are something you would expect to find in France. Their coffee is perfection- Family and dog friendly.
One of the best bakeries I've been to - recommend the kaya roll (coconut) and the hot chocolate. Both were not too sweet and highlighted the ingredients used.
