We happened upon this spot by chance -- we'd come the Bywater to listen to music at another spot, but it hasn't started. Luckily, we walked past Bacchanal, and they had everything we needed. The moment we walked in, an employee approached us and asked if we'd been there before, so he gave us the lay of the land. They have a large wine selection, a bar to order from on the second story, and a yummy looking menu (we had already eaten, but everything we saw come out...
I’m ok with noise and uncomfortable seating if the food is great. But it wasn’t. Pork chop was overcooked and the shrimp wasn’t great. If you like drinking fine wine and yelling across a patio table this is the place for you.
