Backatown Coffee Parlour is a charming coffee shop known for its amazing coffee, skillful baristas, and delectable scones. It offers a cozy and productive atmosphere, making it a popular spot for studying, working, or enjoying a good book. The establishment also serves fantastic pastries, including a notable crawfish quiche with plenty of meat and flavor, heated just right. Customers can enjoy a variety of drinks, such as iced beverages, Vietnamese iced coffee, café au lait, and cappucino with oat milk, which have received high praise. The café features ample natural lighting, cool artwork, a great outdoor patio, and plenty of seating options. The staff provides prompt and friendly service, and the place is wheelchair accessible with a ramp leading to the building. Visitors often enjoy the relaxed vibe, good music, and tasty food, especially the BLTs, Jammy grilled cheese sandwiches, spinach quiche, zucchini pastries, and the Cranberry Cream scone. Many appreciate the reasonable prices and the welcoming environment, with the owners showing kindness to the homeless population in the area. The space is airy yet cozy, with a great view of the statue of Benito Juarez across the street, adding a touch of local history to the experience. Overall, Backatown Coffee Parlour remains a favorite for its good quality food and warm atmosphere.
