The chef takes his job seriously and has a passion for cooking! Everything was new to my taste buds and very refreshing. My favorite was the fried pickles and the new addition nectar cream beignets.

Very cool atmosphere, super friendly staff, slightly disappointed with our cake selections. They weren't bad, but $30 for cake and coffee... I expected it to knock my socks off. Should have listened to the waitress' recommendations.

The best fried pickles I've ever had! I don't even normally order them when they are spears, but I'm glad I did. Also, great happy hour with $5 cocktails.

Inventive, fresh bar food, desserts, and cocktails in a elegant, cozy dining room.Ordered hibiscus fried pickles, bakery burger, & birria nachos. The flavors were on point and uniquely delicious.Don't stop here without trying a doberge cake -- only found in NOLA! We savored every bite of the rainbow wedding cake and the chocolate peppermint! We couldn't help but try the new Nectar Cream cheese Beignets! Wowza yum! Ok you know we were full.Maisy & Squid, both friendly and personable, made fantastic suggestions.

A great spot for a nightcap on our last night in New Orleans! Took advantage of $7 wine on Wednesday and had goodbye-beignets. Friendly bar scene led by bartender Joe. Thanks!

I had the pecan praline cake, and my husband had a chocolate martini. Both were excellent. I'm seriously going to miss this cake when we leave town. It was superbly delicious.

Bakery Bar had great cakes by slice and I loved the Pistachio flavor! Ambiance here is also pretty great.

An enjoyable spot for drinks and delightful dessert bites, featuring excellent service in a welcoming atmosphere. The cake bites were on the sweeter side but moist, with the cookies being our favorite. I enjoyed my cocktail, too.

Didn't have food here so can only speak to the dessert. We came here cause it was really good reviews online so we were excited to try the dessert after dinner nearby. The place wasn't busy at all and it took 20 minutes just to take our order. Think Tuesday night empty. The lemon cake started off good but it got very sweet very quickly. Ambiance seemed pretty nice though!

Got the cold brew martini, coffee old fashioned, the 2 for $10 birthday shots, and a slice of the spike s'mores cake. Oh my gosh. We should have taken pics but we inhaled it. As soon as we walked into the establishment, we were greeted with warmth and wit. Kay and Davis were excellent! They were so funny, friendly, and super knowledgeable on the menu (as well as helpful tips on what to check out in the area). 10/10. Go get yourself a slice of cake and a craft cocktail. You'll be glad you did!

Checked their Facebook page before driving across town to pick up some cake and Dobites. Arrived to find this notice on their door. They did update their Facebook at 6 pm. My recommendation is that this is one of those places you actually must *call* ahead to be sure they are actually open

Brunch at Bakery Bar? Yes please! It's a limited menu but everything is great. So the drinks and the service are wonderful, but can we talk about the cake? Please? Seriously, their doberge is outrageously good. We got the lemon (omg omg omg) and the spiked s'mores (also omg, but not quite as amazing as the lemon). Honestly, order one slice before you even start looking at the drinks and food - why not have something to nibble on while you peruse the menu? After our first slice of cake, we got the Tina Turner, Ringwald, and Young Flanagan drinks and the breakfast sandwiches (three iterations - bacon, sausage, and no meat). So all of the drinks were fantastic, which I'm guessing means that you can't go wrong with any of them. And much like the delicious cake, the breakfast sandwiches were super good. The biscuits were so good, the eggs and cheese were fluffy, and who doesn't like bacon?
