Absolute must-visit for bibliophiles in NOLA. Beautiful, mellow vibes from the atmosphere and staff, a wonderful selection of Black literature across all genres, and one of the best coffees I’ve had yet. Order the Go Tell It On The Mountain and the eggy cheese croissant and soak up the morning in a window seat.
This is the BEST coffee I have ever had. I feel blessed to have found it during my stay in New Orleans. It was so good that I even looked at houses for sale near by weeks later just because it was so good.
I came here with a few friends while visiting from out of town. The warmth that radiates from this space is real and it's clear what it means to the community. I appreciated the book selections available, the snack options, and the welcoming nature of staff and patrons. Overall, an easy 5 stars from me!
