We had a party of 13. Our waiter, Ty, was amazing! Ordered the Crawfish Papusas for appetizers. Delish. Main dishes: Gumbo and Coconut Snapper and Waffles. Gumbo was bland per husband, who is a connoisseur and from Lousiana. The Coconut Snapper is served on tartar sauce which overwhelmed the taste of the fish for me. Still, it was tasty. The cornbread waffles with the crayfish sauce that came with the Snapper were amazing!!! I had the bottomless pineapple Mimosa cuz we went at Brunch...also very good. Staff was pleasant. Restaurant has a good vibe. Also mentioned that everything is fresh to order...no microwave in the kitchen. That's a plus cuz I can use a microwave at home. Missed taking pics cuz I was in the moment.

We loved the food here! The smoked jambalaya was the star, with the pupusas a very close second. The crawfish and beet salad was a perfect dinner after a day of eating heavy food. The watermelon margarita with a tajin rim was so refreshing, but the sazerac, well, we think the bartender wasn't sure how to make a proper one. We drank it anyway, but sazerac is literally all alcohol so this shouldn't have tasted like they added water or lemonade. Still, we'll be back, and big shout out to Ever, who ran the front door, took orders, ran food, filled water glasses... by himself. Excellent, attentive service.

Food was too salty, shrimp was over cooked, jambalaya was not fresh, gumbo was thin like water, music was skipping, bathroom was dirty, staff in kitchen without hairnet.

Restaurantji Recommends
Unfortunately this place disappointed me. We ordered jambalaya, gumbo and cornbread. The jambalaya was small and dry as were the shrimp that they place on top. The gumbo was thin soup that had small frozen shrimp in it with 3 small slices of sausage and about a half cup of rice in the middle. The crab they put on the side of the plate was spoiled and smelled like ammonia and when we told the manager they didn’t do anything or even address us. Oh and the cornbread was very tiny I was surprised that they were stingy with cornbread. The meal was $54 for spoiled and dry food. I will not return and would not recommend it.

Oysters, crab beignets, and salad. Can’t go wrong! Our server was super sweet and gave our pup some water on this hot and steamy May evening. Will be back for 75 cent oysters on Monday nights.

Recommended dishes: Jambalaya Fumada, Snapper
Came in for dinner and asked to sit outside. Ordered a dozen raw oysters, which we enjoyed. My wife ordered the jambalaya which she did not enjoy. I ordered the red snapper, which was okay. It was the lack of service is why I would not recommend this place. We were clearly forgotten about. Had to go in and ask for our server to return. The jambalaya was removed from the bill. We left and found another place. It was not an enjoyable experience what’s so over.
