We had a party of 13. Our waiter, Ty, was amazing! Ordered the Crawfish Papusas for appetizers. Delish. Main dishes: Gumbo and Coconut Snapper and Waffles. Gumbo was bland per husband, who is a connoisseur and from Lousiana. The Coconut Snapper is served on tartar sauce which overwhelmed the taste of the fish for me. Still, it was tasty. We loved the food here! The smoked jambalaya was the star, with the pupusas a very close second. The crawfish and beet salad was a perfect dinner after a day of eating heavy food. The watermelon margarita with a tajin rim was so refreshing, but the sazerac, well, we think the bartender wasn't sure how to make a proper one. We drank it anyway, but sazerac is literally all alcohol so this shouldn't have tasted like they added water or lemonade. Still, we'll be back,...
Oysters, crab beignets, and salad. Can’t go wrong! Our server was super sweet and gave our pup some water on this hot and steamy May evening. Will be back for 75 cent oysters on Monday nights.
