Great food, great service and a friendly staff. We had marked Basin Seafood on Google maps because it looked and sounded good, and it certainly was.

We had Blue Crab Beignets (wonderful), Crawfish Queso (very good but could use more crawfish) and a couple drinks.

We went for a few items on the Happy Hour menu since we had a dinner planned elsewhere later. If we had more days in town, it would be great to have dinner here.

Such a great spot if you’re looking for some good food, service and drinks!

They offer a great twist on some of the favorites such as crab beignets which is nothing like what you would think when craving beignets. These were so light, fluffy and filled with crab goodness! The blue crab claws were also amazing! Tender pieces of claw meat always shelled and easy to eat. The pupusas were also another hit with the crawfish! And the potatoes that came paired with...

One of the best places to have food in NOLA. We went on a Monday and had the 75c deal on oysters. We ended up having more than two dozens. The crawfish pupusas are a must try as well.
