I am so disappointed. After spending almost $300 last night for drinks that were good, but not outstanding, we were told at 9:32 tonight that we could only get our drinks to go. They hadn’t called last call yet and there were still patrons in the nearly empty bar getting drinks in glasses. $18 for a drink in a plastic cup? No, thanks.

I love this place. Everything is delicious, our bartender Evan is a delight, and every flavor is surprising and perfectly balanced.

Cool tiki atmosphere. Good food. Very good tiki drinks (including n/a selections) but needs to up it's ice game. Regular cubes in a Mai Tai is blasphemy. 😉

We came for drinks and heavy apps. Heavy apps turned into dinner because there were so many good options so we just ordered enough to fill us up. The drinks were fantastic, and the wait staff was very knowledgeable about tiki drinks and able to make recommendations for people who were less familiar with the complex cocktails.

I am on an unofficial Tiki Bar Pilgrimage and Latitude 29 has set a new bar (no-pun intended) in the whole package experience.

Bar staff was hilariously entertaining, delightfully chatty, the vibes are vibing.

The food is delicious and the drinks, oh the drinks, they are so masterfully crafted and high quality that we could have ordered a couple more if we didn’t have dinner reservations elsewhere.

Our bartender Joey whipped up some of the most delicious drinks we've ever tasted, and offered great conversation while we enjoyed them. Will definitely return on any future trips to NOLA.

I made a special effort to visit as I am well aware of Beachbum Berry’s tiki cocktails and have his book. So this was something of a pilgrimage for me. I loved the tiki design venue and the food choices. What made it for me was the warm and professional service. Fantastic cocktails and genuine interest shown in me by the bar staff as I was a big tiki fan. I’d loved to have met the Beachbum to sign my book but he wasn’t there that evening. Highly recommended

This Polynesian themed restaurant has incredible drinks and tasty appetizers. The staff were accommodating and friendly and joined in on the fun. The free thank you shot they give doesn’t hurt either.

The Zombie is a top tier drink. The Jet Pilot had fun accouterment and tasted great. We tasted each other’s drinks and thought they were all delicious. The pimento cheese Rangoon was so good we had it both times we visited over the weekend.

Servers/bartenders Dave, Michelle, and Joey treated our big group very well and Michelle recognized us when we went back two days later and welcomed us with big smiles. They were fun.

Everyone on our group said they will go back.

The formidable and delicious Rum Barrel (extravagantly garnished) was fantastic, and matched with superb service from Michelle - friendly, funny, and fabulous!
The bao were great too.

Stumbling into Beachbum Berry’s Latitude 29 was the happiest accident of our entire trip. Wandering is our favorite way to explore a city, and this place felt like a reward for doing it right.
From the moment we walked in, we were obsessed with the décor and vibe—immersive, fun, and effortlessly cool. The bartenders are true professionals, serving up incredible cocktails while also being genuinely engaging and welcoming. The drinks were outstanding, the food was delicious, and the energy of the place was just right.
We felt instantly at home, and if it hadn’t been our last night in New Orleans, we would have gone back every single evening. An absolute must-visit for anyone who loves great cocktails, great atmosphere, and places with real soul.

Kelsey was a sweetie, genuinely made the experience so wonderful. Their namesake drink and the missionary one were the best drinks I’ve ever had!
