The line was long but it was well worth the wait for brunch at Bearcat. I got the vegan biscuit with tofu scramble (instead of Just Egg, which I dislike) and house-made sausage. The side of cauliflower grits was just pebbles cauliflower; it tasted good but wasn’t grits. The meal and service were excellent and this was a fun spot for people watching and being in community. Good coffee, too!
I love a good brunch place! This spot was so satisfying. I had the tofu breakfast burrito, vegan biscuit, and an amazing matcha. Everything was flavorful and fresh. They also have tons of other vegan options to try, so if you’re looking for a brunch spot in New Orleans, this is definitely the one!
One of the best brunch spots in NOLA! Loved everything we ordered and went back twice. Crab Scramble, Pulled Brisket, and Scallops/Fried Oysters with Grits—so good! The grits were a bit pricey ($31), but totally worth it.
