Food was ok. Jerk chicken.. delicious. The rice and beans needed more seasoning. Most of the food was really bland. The seasoned greens. Seasoned to perfection. Oxtails….seasoned wells really tender. Fries… just like all fries. And the passion fruit lemonade was ok. Mac and cheese needed seasoning as well. This was a 4 for me. Food was cold, but all in all, it was tasty.

The shrimp roti was delicious. A bit too much gravy, but the shrimp were clean and tender. I love the Mac and cheese and callaloo. The dhalpouri roti was decent too! Definitely would order again.

Someone referred them after I had a bad experience with another Jamaican restaurant in New Orleans (whose name I won’t mention but they’re very popular in the city). This food was 100x better! The BEST Jamaican food I’ve had in the city. Everything I ordered was delicious and seasoned perfectly. The oxtails were big and tender, the rice & peas were fresh, the mac&cheese was nice and hot, even the plantain was good! Also, they did NOT skimp on the portions. Came back and ate off the plate twice. Delivers well and was still hot when I received it. 10/10 can’t wait to try more from the menu!

My grandson introduce me to this eatery place. He loves Jamaican food. I only tried the dessert, which was a fudge brownie, which the owner said had pecans!!!! No pecans in that brownie!!!!. I never tried the food, it just did'nt look appealing to me. My grandson us a young adult, he enjoyed it. That's enough for me. Also the food is very pricey. Too expensive. The management was'nt very friendly either.

I called to place an order, a man answered the phone and said something, I assumed asking me to hold. However, I could still hear the phone faintly. After 5 minutes I said “hello” a few times, no response so I hung up. I saw GrubHub was offering a discount and ordered through there for pickup.I ordered the brown stew chicken and oxtail with mac and cheese and rice and beans and a side of plantains.I arrive before my food was ready, the gentleman at the counter said my food was not ready so I waited. About 10 minutes later he comes over with my food. I head to the car and open to eat it to realize there were no plantains. I went inside and asked. He said they were out, I asked for a refund, he said they don’t do refunds and to call GrubHub.While eating I realized the side of steamed vegetables were the sub for the plantains except I was there and he could have asked what I wanted to replace the plantains. I would NOT pay $5 for steamed vegetables, which they decided they could just change my order. I also only received one SMALL piece of oxtail, barely any mac and cheese, the chicken was not tender.The food is not nearly good enough to endure the awful customer service or price.

I am extremely disappointed with this Jamaican restaurant. It claims to be authentic, yet it lacks any genuine Jamaican meals. The patty crust was far from authentic, with a sad texture and lack of flavor. The filling was also tasteless, leaving much to be desired. The overall quality of the meal was unacceptable. I strongly urge the management to improve the standards and authenticity of their food. This experience was a letdown, and I believe the restaurant should be held accountable for serving these blain flavorless dishes! You all need to do better! Get a different chef this is not Jamaican food!
