Just come visit and create your own opinion… food nice
I’ve been going to Boswell’s since I moved here in the mid to late 90s. The original owner is retired in Jamaica, but you can still get great food. I don’t go there as often as I would like, but I go to get a jerk plate when I can. I know there are a lot more Jamaican restaurants around, but I have fond memories of this place. Boswell's Jamaican Grill offers a variety of Jamaican dishes with mixed reviews. Some customers found the food to be just okay, with the oxtail, priced at $29, being compared to turkey necks and mac n cheese being described as regular. However, the curry goat, coco bread, and jerk chicken received positive comments for their taste. The rice and beans, as well as the mac and cheese, were noted to need more seasoning. The shrimp roti was enjoyed, with the roti skin getting a B+ from a customer who has experience making roti. The callaloo and seasoned greens were highly appreciated for their flavor. The service was praised for being great, although some customers received cold food. The restaurant has a super cute interior, and the atmosphere is described as limited, especially when fewer tables are occupied. Additionally, Boswell's provides wheelchair accessibility with a ramp and decent parking, though it may be limited at busier times. Overall, the experience is tasty, with amazing food and superb flavors, despite some minor shortcomings in seasoning and temperature.
