Brasa is located in a fantastic spot, and the experience begins with an elevator ride up into the restaurant—a unique touch that sets the tone for the evening. The employees are incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.

The bar service was a highlight of our visit. The bartender was exceptional, crafting phenomenal drinks that truly stood out. The caipirinha and the hibiscus margarita were the stars of the night, perfectly balanced and refreshing—they saved the day!

As for the food, it was a mixed bag. The empanadas were okay but didn’t stand out. The choripán, while beautifully presented, was almost too much—overwhelming in flavors and presentation. On the other hand, the tuna ceviche was excellent, fresh, and flavorful. However, the ajiaco fell flat; it was poorly executed, overly salty, and lacked any chicken, which was disappointing for such a classic dish.

Overall, Brasa shines in its ambiance, service, and drinks, but the food could use a little fine-tuning to match the rest of the experience. Worth a visit if you’re in the area, especially for the cocktails!

I have said this before, if you call yourself a steakhouse, know how to grill a steak. I ordered medium and got something between blue and rare. And don't double down and try to recook it to get it right. Start over again! Because all I end up with is a medium well steak.

The restaurant also had a very minimum variety of steak sizes. You got under 10 oz or over 20? What happened to 14 to 16?

Definitely won't be coming back. I haven't mentioned this in my other very recent posts, but all of this is for a series of dinner parties in January for party sizes of 8. 2 restaurants won, this wasn't one of them.

Brasa scenery and decor was truly amazing! The staff were incredible with their charisma and knowledge of the menu and drink menu. Our Waiter Rob personally connected with my party and served us with charisma and professionalism. But the food was truly amazing! The appetizer, drinks, and entrees and sides were all amazing. Down side is I did have room for dessert.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and I was totally surprised, it was recommended to me and I think it was a good choice to have come. The waitress Zoriah was super friendly and always aware that we would not miss anything. The food was just on time and just as we had ordered, and the variety of drinks they can offer you. My husband was celebrating his birthday and the manager Fernanda was an accomplice in helping him surprise him, which made it a special night. I definitely recommend it!! hence this comment. 10/10.

Brasa absolutely exceeded our expectations! Fernanda was extremely knowledgeable and made spot on recommendations. She was so friendly, warm, and attentive. The wine and food was INCREDIBLE, and the ambiance was very comfortable. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this restaurant!

A fantastic night was had at Brasa on Canal. Food and drinks were on point. Service was amazing, one of the best experiences we’ve had on our trip! Sit at the bar, they are top notch!
