Had a great last night in NOLA for my birthday trip at Broussard's! Monique was our server and she was so very pleasant, along with the rest of the staff. Not only did they bring my birthday candle, but did a complimentary glass of champagne since I have a dairy allergy. Food and drinks were great as well. Much appreciated and we will be back to visit again- thank you!
I LOVE Broussard's. It's my go-to for an old New Orleans vibe brunch, but this time just missed the mark. First, we were in the stable, which is great with all the natural light. However, a very large party was seated there also, and they were so loud, we could barely hear each other. Second, I don't feel like we got the previous level of attentiveness from our servers. We live locally. We came to the Quarters to hang out for the weekend. This was our first time eating at Broussard‘s. The waiter was attentive and the service was good The food was good, but cool to temperature. I was very disappointed. I absolutely love hot French bread and a good glass of wine. The bread was cold.
