I was very weary from a long walk from the Irish Channel and happened to stumble upon Bud Rip's. It was fate. The bartender, Joseph, was an angel in disguise. Had a delicious frozen paloma and a vodka club and was able to carry on my journey to Euclid Records. I would love to come back here and make merry into oblivion.

I really liked the look and feel of this bar. Its fairly large and open inside with plenty of seating. Another place that had a classic speakeasy appearance, but still maintained it's neighborhood bar appeal. Cheap beer plus classy cocktails, how can you go wrong? There are plenty of distractions, pool, darts, video poker etc...I can't wait until I can get a chance to hangout here more often and chat up some regs.
