Haven't been here in a while. I used to really love this place .I believe it has changed ownership? I didn't see the family or any of the long term employees. The old counter people were very friendly and personable, not so much today.
As far as the atmosphere, I immediately noticed all of the beautiful live orchids were gone and there were a couple of plastic ones in their place. I remember the elder who cared for these orchids. We've had quite a few...

We were looking for a seafood place to eat and we found the perfect place ! The food was delicious 😋 and the staff was super nice . Family owned and the place is very comfortable. They have tv's great tables to eat at too. We are from Texas and we will definitely come back next time. Thanks !!!
Oh and the meat pies were great ! I also got a PO BOY Sandwich

This is one of my favorite places for gumbo. It's got a lot of meats, spicy enough, thick, and great overall flavor. I've had a few other dishes and a seafood boil that was also very flavorful.
