OMG. This bar was THE place to go to on the weekends among the Tulane/Loyola crowd in the late 80s/early 90s. So. Many. Memories!!!!!
Ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and got shrimp after confirming with the bartender.
Patrons were great, staff was not. Both bartenders clearly don't like being bartenders and one put her whole hand on the mouth of our beer bottles. The bar itself is nice and clean.
Rendon Inn is a cozy neighborhood spot with great food, friendly staff, and reasonable prices. It's an ideal place to watch a game, with a pool table and a spacious back patio area for large groups. The menu features tasty bar food, including onion rings and wraps, with generous portions. The bartenders are super friendly and helpful, and drinks are inexpensive. The Po boys are a must—huge and delicious, made with quality ingredients. The back porch is a nice spot to enjoy drinks and watch the game. Parking can be tricky when crowded, so planning ahead is helpful. Overall, Rendon Inn remains a chill and welcoming place for solo visitors, friends, or sports fans.
