Visited the Metairie location and they kept the $2 change, the place stunk like bathrooms which were nasty, they refused to serve us on plates, workers were playing with the dough like it wasn’t food. Called the manager who could have didn’t care. Skip this nasty place and visit shipleys instead.

The food was good. Cash Only the service was Bad and restrooms were nasty.

Went to Vets location. Beignets had to be microwaved. The powdered Sugar was in huge chunks that didn't break when you squeeze them. Cut up my mouth trying to eat the sugar. Only a microwave does that to sugar, not just fried beignets. Won't go back.

Vice president is a total knob. Who moves into the French quarter and complains and sues a local establishment over bubbles that have been here for decades? Will never go back again. He could have moved anywhere he chose this location..

Best beneigts I've ever had. Cafe au lait also excellent. Most of the building is open to the elements with just canvas sides. When we went it was pretty cold. Also, very small bathrooms with long lines. A new orleans institution. Must go.

Went there early Sunday morning. All the seats were taken, but the take out line was short. Take out line went by quickly. Went to the park and tried the coffee, café au lair, and beigneits. Beigneits were good and pretty fresh. 3 in a pack and for a decent price. The chickory coffee had a nice barky flavor, but tasted a bit watered down. The Cafe au lait was not good. It tastes like half and half. No real flavor from it and probably watered down. Ordered a fresh squeezed orange juice... And what a joke!!!! They poured the orange juice from a jug. This place is a tourist trap, but I guess I can say that I've been there now. I'm sure there are other places to go try.

Cash only! This is a popular place to try in Nola. I enjoyed the outdoor seating and although the line was long, I got a table fairly quickly. The beignets are extremely messy, but so good. I don’t like coffee, so I had the hot chocolate instead and I really enjoyed it.
