Best beneigts I've ever had. Cafe au lait also excellent. Most of the building is open to the elements with just canvas sides. When we went it was pretty cold. Also, very small bathrooms with long lines. A new orleans institution. Must go.
Cash only! This is a popular place to try in Nola. I enjoyed the outdoor seating and although the line was long, I got a table fairly quickly. The beignets are extremely messy, but so good. I don’t like coffee, so I had the hot chocolate instead and I really enjoyed it.
Fast, sit down service. Delicious, hot, fresh beignets with a generous amount of powdered sugar and coffee. There are other places in New Orleans that serve beignets but don’t be fooled!!! This is the original location!! Open 24 hrs and cash only.
