Cafe Degas has become one of our absolute favorites, over the years. This trip was part of celebrating our son's first big job after grad school. We were served by Taylor, who was engaging and perfectly attentive, even silently noticing our OJ glasses were pushed to the middle of the table and investigating with the kitchen to see that batch was "off", and she brought new fresh glasses without even asking if we needed them. We weren't going to even say anything,...
It's always a pleasant dining experience at Cafe Degas. The staff is attentive and responsive. The food was prepared to our expectations. It was the first time I had the good fortune of dining outdoors. Weather cooperated and it was a great experience.
The food was very good as always but the staff were exceptional and made our evening very enjoyable. It would have been better if they had put another small table together for our group. We had 5 people and they put us at a table for 4 with a chair on the end. This was less than perfect....and why I gave them 4's instead of 5's.
