I went to the dance floor and danced SOLO but when I came back, the bouncer pulled me aside and told me “don’t talk to ANYBODY in the bar! Youre making people uncomfortable!”
Perplexed I tried to ask for clarification but none was given. I sat down confused when the curly haired girl quite LITERALLY put her bosom on my shoulder and started asking me questions about new Orleans. Then this crazy bouncer grabbed my arm then grabbed my personal belongings and kicked me out. I then saw him GETTING BOTH OF THEIR NUMBERS when I was out in the RAIN waiting for my ride. All of these lies for that end goal is DISGRACEFUL!
I am considering legal action and If the footage from Tues Feb 18 – Wed Feb 19 somehow disappears or is altered that will be grounds for a charge of obstruction of justice. My dignity wont by stomped on by a jealous spiteful bouncer.
Absolutely unbelievable, unprofessional and illegal. I can prove everything I said as long as the security footage doesnt mysteriously vanish

This is a live-music bar that has some popped corn to accompany the drinks. The drinks are reasonably priced. We reserved two small tables and stools to the right of the stage. The entertainment was engaging and fun. We felt safe and had a great time.

Disgusting overpricing of drinks, not listing prices on the menu, I paid 13 dollars for a ridiculously small drink.
This was something. Don't know if I'd recommend it or not. Very loud. Drinks were way overpriced even if you ignore bottle service and VIP status. Band was decent but wasn't our vibe. Also, they don't understand what cognac is.

Awesome show by Jason Neville & band last night. Outstanding performance of "Golden" by Jill Scott. Friendly staff, reasonable drink prices, relaxed crowd. (I didnt order any food so can't speak to that)

We found the Cafe Negril by chance when roaming the city, and we were instructed to go to Frenchman St. to get away from the chaos of Bourbon. This little bar has fantastic drinks, wonderful service and just a great atmosphere. We visited 2-3 times afterward during our stay in NOLA, and each time we were greeted with smiling faces. There is normally an older black lady who works the door security, she was AWESOME!! You do NOT mess with her, she'll correct you in a second and she did not play! LOVED her and the younger white waitress with the tattoos who works the outdoor seating. They were so great!!
