I had a great time at their Jam session! The server was kind and attentive. I just wish they would offer any type of snack. I would have liked to have a bag of chips or pretzels along with the drinks.
Had an awesome NYE here, we just happened on this place on the way to Bourbon street and ended up watching a show here all night instead! We saw Sierra Green and the Giants, they were excellent. Apparently she is the 'Queen of Frenchmen Street' and we were lucky enough to see her! So so fun, good venue. Small and intimate, and the waitress was very sweet. Great experience overall.
Cafe Negril is a bit of a dive bar.
But they have great live music!
And they have a fantastic open jam on Tuesday nights!
I was only there twice, while visiting New Orleans. I had a few drinks there, but have no idea whether they serve food.
I recommend Cafe Negril for the music!
