This is a fine dining experience in the historic French Quarter. The food is always great. Also white chocolate bread pudding.

My friend has to use a walker, so we look for parking close to our destination. Tried to park in front of Cafe Sbisa to eat dinner, and was run off by employees that put trash cans in the closest parking to save it for their manager. We left and wont be back.

The food and rooftop experience are a major highlight. We ordered the gumbo and redfish—both were top notch. The balcony seating is great, offering a fun way to enjoy the city atmosphere while dining.

The only downside was our waiter, Bill. While clearly a character, he was also eccentric and appeared to be intoxicated. He lingered at our table throughout the meal, chatting nonstop. My partner and I tried to be polite and let it slide, but it became uncomfortable. He repeatedly brought up a fan issue in the downstairs seating area that apparently is an annoyance to him and pressured us to mention it to management, even though we weren’t sitting down there.

When we left, he shouted from the balcony asking why we hadn’t said anything to the management . In hindsight, we laugh about it and chalk it up to a quirky experience—but we do wish we could have enjoyed our wonderful meal without Bill’s persistent interruptions. Giving five stars because the food was excellent.

On the pictures alone I made reservations, did not disappoint. Had the courtbouillon, and oh man are the portions big but sooo good! Service was great. They are attentive and your water glass will never be empty, put this place on your list for your next NOLA visit. 10/10

I was here a year ago and had a very pleasant experience. The food and service was very impressive. When I came back last week I had my same waiter, Chris Cat. He was fantastic!!! His knowledge and attentiveness made our experience even better. This is authentic creole cuisine. My favorite New Orleans dinner destination. I highly recommend Cafe Sbisa. When I return to New Orleans, I will be coming back to Cafe Sbisa and I will be asking for Chris.

Food was so average. Turtle soup was hyped on both citrus and pepper.Oysters were fresh tasting but the sauce was bland. Catfish was bland and too bready. One bright spot was the service as the wait staff was attentive without be intrusive. Been here many times over the years and was hoping for better.

We stumbled into this restaurant off of the street, drawn in by the smells and music.
Sbisa unknowingly became one of the best places that I’ve ever eaten at.

We had a wonderful Easter Brunch at Cafe Sbisa and the service was top notch. Our champagne and water glass was never empty. We sat upstairs where the band playing wasn't so loud. It was a very pleasant experience!

I've tried the turtle soup and it seemed very sour. First I assumed this is what it is, and I don't like it, but after trying it in another restaurant I realized that this one just sucked.
Red fish was not bad.
