This food gave my sister and I food poisoning. I wish I would’ve taken pictures of our food but we threw it in the trash. We ordered snow crab legs, two pounds of crawfish, potatoes, and a boudain link. The crab legs were hard to crack open and were rubbery. I’m assuming because it been sitting out for a while or it was cooked the day prior. Meaning they weren’t fresh. The potatoes were old too and the boudain link looked like it wasn’t cooked. The crawfish was okay but some of the tails were missing which I’ve never had crawfish with the tail missing. Did the cooks get hungry and ate some? Lol smh!! We had to stay in our hotel room for hours where both of our stomachs were aching and couldn’t finish enjoying the city. Don’t go here please, I wish I would’ve requested my money back.

Legit cajun seafood boil in a sketch area. If you're looking for ambiance or an experience, this isn't the place (unless the experience you want is an adventure). Tourists be warned. It is takeout only - there is no seating available. I saw a few pictures and reviews on Yelp that mentioned seating but that is not the case, at least not at the Broad location. It's small inside and you get in line to order and then pay at the register. There are some free parking spots around the corner on Washington Ave in front of the beauty supply store. Don't bother trying to park in the restaurant's parking lot, it's a mess with everyone double parked so even if you find a spot you might get blocked in. Honestly we were a little concerned about leaving the car around the corner where we couldn't see it, but it was fine and we weren't there for too long. You can definitely tell this place is a local's favorite. It was packed and had a long line to order when we walked inside. The staff was very efficient though and the line moved quickly. The service was expedient, about what I would expect from a seafood market type of establishment. Courteous enough but definitely no nonsense as they are very busy and have to run a tight ship to keep things moving along. They mistakenly overcharged me for something and when I pointed it out they refunded the difference without any issues. As for the food, everything we tried was on point. 10/10. Crawfish was super tasty. The cajun seasoning was flavorful and spicy. I don't know what they did to the corn but it was amazing. They must have boiled it in butter or something. Potatoes were perfect and had great flavor. We also ordered the shrimp fried rice and shrimp po-boy, both were great. Prices are very reasonable for what you get. If this place was near me I would probably be going every week to get my crawfish fix. I'll be checking out their other location and will definitely be back here again.

Cajun Seafood in New Orleans offers a spacious ambiance that's immediately welcoming, yet you'll find the seating quite limited. As you step inside, the aroma of a spicy seafood boil tantalizingly fills the air, promising a feast for the senses. The crawfish, a first-time order, delivers a punch of flavor with a notable cayenne kick, making it a memorable dish despite its premium price point. The experience is somewhat marred by the staff's apparent indifference, seemingly more eager for closing time than customer service. This lack of engagement is noticeable, especially given the scant number of patrons during the visit. In summary, while Cajun Seafood dishes up flavors that are bold and authentic, the high prices and lackluster service temper the overall experience. It's worth a visit for the food alone, but set your expectations accordingly when it comes to value and service.

There is very limited parking space and always full. The crawfish is delicious. $10 per pound. I would come back if parking conditions are better.

Nice area to sit outside and in. The prices were the best I've seen since being in town. Crawfish was 15-18 A POUND everywhere else, but here? 6 bucks! They were a little spicy (which I love) with a hint of sweet that calmed it and kept me eating! I got a full lobster with a side of butter for 13.50. You can't beat it! Plus, the service was fast, and the female cashier was friendly and welcoming. I'll be returning when back in town for more!

The potatoes were hard and hardly spicy, the corn and chicken wings was ok. I wanted a fried turkey wing but it was dried out and burnt looking.

Love love love Cajuns! Def a must stop in New Orleans. The food is very consistent and well seasoned. Get there early if you want the full effect of everything. You order boiled food at one end and fried food at the other end.You will pay an arm and leg but worth every penny. You literally can get any thing here. Drinks , food, chips. Everything lol

Wow... my friend recommended me to this place for seafood boil. First off .. apparently it's in the hood per my Uber drivers. They don't have anywhere for you to sit, so you purchase & bring it back to your place. It's super spicy if you can't handle spice. I could handle it, but was struggling. The sauce is really flavorful & it doesn't taste oily like other places I've had. I'm Asian and the rice isn't what I'm used to (hard long grain). The crawfish was fresh and I probably paid the cheapest ever for 3lbs of seafood. Definitely recommend.

We spent 55.00 dollars on 3 pounds of crawfish today here. And these crawfish look like the size of small shrimp. Ridiculous..... And I've lived here just about all my life. They were good but small af.... Don't waste ur time getting them if u love

Its crazy they set up in black neighborhoods. Feed us frozen leftovers. the other location on. caliborne had a roach in the food served area and went viral. You would think they want to set a good standard of customer service. Its crazy i cant get a sandwich on toast. Now you can charge me the same as bun but not on toast. I ordered a grill cheese which is used with the sliced bread. Make it make sense i hate it being the only thing quick in our area that we are forced to eat. Or starve. They teach the black workers not to ask them for anything special like charge me the same amount on bun but i want it on toast. I be happy when more black own restaurants in the area. Worse service ever.

The atmosphere is always the same (busy) and they get you out pretty fast with hot food. But sometimes everything doesn't always be fresh. You can tell but they are good for replacing your food with no argument. I love the poboys from there and the bread is always soft with fresh fried shrimp. They are the 1st place I go to for poboys.Parking: Adequate parking in front the door unless it's extremely crowded but there's more parking around the corner.Wheelchair accessibility: No steps or elevation to get in the door.

The shrimp fried rice is a must try! We had it as a side dish for the fried oysters, but the fried rice was just too good!! The boiled Cajun egg was an interesting dish, flavor that I have never had before but I really like it! Fried chicken was a little too salty for me but the texture was very good!
