It was a novel little thing to drop by and do. There's nowhere to wait for a seat, so it's awkward, and you can tell staff is annoyed with you. There is no signage on what to do or where to go. Got a Sazerac here, as you are supposed to! Bartenders were slammed but pleasant! Novel experience that is fun to try once!

Cute bar, the seats actually move around the bar like a Carousel! It was so cool, mind you it moved very slowly so no danger of getting hurt and the chairs are painted like the Carousel horses. Great atmosphere

Classic New Orleans experience. It's worth waiting to sit at the carousel bar. Frank made it a really special experience.
Nice place, drinks are somewhat more expensive compared to area, but remember you're paying for the atmosphere too! Was crowded, but lady who had reserved the area by the band graciously gave up seats by the window.for us (thank you, so sweet), was comfortable, and view was great and relaxing after walking NOLA all day! I'd return.

Such a fun place! When I say always busy it's seriously always busy in there but worth the wait to get on the bar! You meet the greatest people and the bartenders are amazing how they keep the pace and make such Incredible beverages. We tried tbe truffle fries and the develed eggs...both phenomenal! You have to keep stalking people sitting at the bar to see when they cash out. We would approach people very politely and ask them if we could have their seats when they leave...we never got a no. People were so amazing and friendly like no place I've ever been. The most fun we had was going on the carousel each night we stayed at the hotel and meeting new people! Definitely my most cherished memory of our trip!
