All I can really say is OHHHHMYYY GODT! Everything, I do mean EVERYTHING WAS PHENOMENAL! Beautiful inside, Service was not pushy but rather informational & suggestive. That was very helpful because I didn't know what to order. The delivery was "out of this world"! I wished i had known about this spot before I visited the others. The food looked & tasted good. The chef knows how to make grits!

The food was absolutely amazing, everything fried and cooked to perfection. We had a large group and our servers were patient, kind and so accommodating. I can’t wait to go back!

I was recommended Chapter IV by Amtrak staff while waiting for my train. It is within walking distance. We went in on a Saturday morning around 11am to make a togo order. We were told they normally don't do pickup orders on the weekend, but since they were slow we were able to get it. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant has a really nice and calming vibe. While waiting for our food business quickly picked up. I ordered the Fish and Grits plate-Fried farm raised catfish, crawfish & andouille maque choux creole grits. I requested to not have the crawfish& andouille maque. The Catfish was still crispy after walking back to the Amtrak station. Both the catfish and grits were seasoned well. The grits were just the right texture.
My son ordered the Grilled Redfish which came with Crab fried rice, yellow and zucchini squash. He said he would rate it 7.5 out of 10.
The restaurant is a little pricey to me, but I guess the rates are comparable to any nice downtown restaurant. I hope to go back when visiting New Orleans again.

Such a beautiful restaurant with AMAZING food!

The only reason, and I mean ONLY reason I knocked off one star is because the service was a bit slow.

The restaurant is minimal and gorgeous, I really loved the artwork. We all enjoyed our food, and wish we had another day in New Orleans to go again and enjoy another dish on the menu.

For food > you have to get the shrimp and grits. THEY WERE SO GOOD. The grits were creamy and yummy. The taste of the shrimp 🔥🔥🔥

My man got the chicken and pancakes - also very good. I really enjoyed the pancakes.

We also loved the bread pudding, especially the crispy edges!

If you’re in New Orleans, you have to try this spot out!

I started with the BBQ Shrimp and I wanted to try the Crawfish Maque Choux. The BBQ Shrimp were soooo good. That sauce was rich and creamy and full of flavor. The Maque Choux was underseasoned for my liking. I ended up pouring some of the BBQ Shrimp sauce over it and boy was that good. My entree was the Grilled Redfish w/ Sautéed Veggies & Crab "Fried Rice". The Grilled Resfish was absolutely amazing! The Veggies were underseasoned for my liking. But that Crab "Fried Rice" was soooo yummy. It wasn't the style of Fried Rice that I was thinking but that flavor was so good and the crab was fresh and flavorful. Very good experience overall.

Today I had the most Amazing lunch at Chapter IV by Dook Chase with my family to Celebrate my niece Jalana closing on her first home today!

About this meal, Everything was EXCELLENT!!! Crabcakes all crab no filler over a delicious fried green tomato! Sweet Chili Ribs & Chicken absolutely amazing! The Gumbo, Shrimp & Grits, Blackened Redfish w/Crab Fried Rice and the Chicken and Pancakes were all Super Delicious! I’m going to this place over and over again! 😋😋😋

It more than made up for the Extremely rude Owner at Willie Mae’s Nola! Some folks have absolutely no integrity in their business!

I came with my husband for brunch. The restaurant is clean and well decorated. Our waitress was sweet and informative. The pancakes were amazing! They tasted homemade, I haven’t had pancakes like that since childhood.
