Visiting from Colorado, by far the best burger I have EVER had. Blackened chicken with anything is also incredible! Bit pricey but amazing food and absolutely worth it!

We stopped in Chartres House for a cocktail break while roaming around NOLA. Our drinks were tasty and strong. I had a hurricane. (When in NOLA…). My wife had a Pink Cadillac Float. The vibe is pretty nice, like a lot of places in the French Quarter. Would come back and try other menu items, for sure.

We had a difficult time finding a restaurant that could accommodate our large group on a busy Friday afternoon for lunch. The gentleman working the door assured us he could make space for us, including my mother-in-laws scooter which had limited our access into many restaurants. The gentleman at the door (wish I would have gotten his name) was friendly and bussed the tables himself for us since the other staff was busy at the moment. The food was delicious, the bathrooms were clean and the atmosphere was relaxing and had an authentic New Orleans feel. All 8 in our party enjoyed the experience, food and staff. Thank you!Kid-friendliness: We had 2 teens who enjoyed the options on the menu.Wheelchair accessibility: All 1 level and table far enough apart to allow a scooter to easily pass.

Brianne was our server. Was very great recommending food and other places. Burger and alligator bites were delicious and my picky kids liked them.

Great Tasty Food! I recommend Gulf Shrimp & Chicken Marie Laveau. If you have a chance sit at the bar and talk to a very nice girl Maggie.

OGS Da great

Chartres Balcony offers a picturesque setting with a charming ambiance, but unfortunately, the food quality and service fell short of expectations. The shrimp po boy, a popular dish on the menu, resulted in food poisoning for two guests, which is a serious concern for any restaurant. In addition to the food issues, the overall dining experience was marred by bland flavors and weak execution in the dishes. The service, while friendly, was lacking due to a reported staff shortage. It's understandable that the server may have been overwhelmed, but it's disappointing that this impacted the level of service provided to customers. While the server was apologetic and tried to make amends, it's clear that there are underlying issues that need to be addressed at Chartres Balcony. Consistency in food quality, proper staffing levels, and efficient service are crucial aspects of any dining establishment, and it seems that improvements are needed in these areas.Overall, I would recommend caution when dining at Chartres Balcony until these issues are addressed and resolved. It's important for restaurants to prioritize the health and satisfaction of their customers to maintain a positive reputation in the competitive dining industry.

We were walking back to our hotel and decided to stop here for a few drinks and some appetizers. I'm so glad we did. It had a nice atmosphere and was very well kept. The service was great and the food was very good. We had the fried alligator and dry rub wings. So good. I also had a cup of gumbo that was delicious.

Food was amazing.. originally we were going to try a sampler, but the Gulf Shrimp ? Marie Laveau was too good to pass up.Nice relaxing atmosphere, not too loud (could easily have conversation), and the service was great!
