My husband made reservations months ago to celebrate my 70th birthday! We are from Dallas. I was so disappointed in the entire experience. My martini was horrible and warm. I expected impeccable service and delicious food and drink. Our server performed as if it were her first night to work at a restaurant. She spilled water on the menu when she first came to the table. Ok, not a big deal, not going to let that ruin my birthday. I ordered a steak medium rare and it was medium well. I sent it back. After 20 minutes, the next steak was brought to our table horribly red and bloody. Our server never asked us anything about anything. In fact, it was a man standing on the sidelines at the restaurant who saw that my steak wasn't cooked correctly. He was nowhere to be seen when the second one was brought to the table. Summary: We will never return to this restaurant and don't recommend this restaurant to anyone. The Four Seasons managerial staff should eat there so they understand this restaurant is NOT at the level you expect from a restaurant inside the Four Seasons.

We love staying at the Four Seasons and Chemin never disappoints. The oysters are fresh and delicious. Cocktails are well made. Randall and Renee behind the bar are stellar. Food is outstanding!

Lovely brunch restaurant on the 5th floor of Four Seasons Hotel in New Orleans. This restaurant has a fantastic view of the river. But honestly the food was not good.

What a beautiful experience! Well-trained waitstaff, and views over-looking the Mississippi River. An evening meal on a summer night was a most romantic date! My vegetarian dish was chef’s kiss.✨ We had a most delightful waitress.
Thank you Chemin à la Mer!

I went here for the happy hour oysters, they start at $2 and they provided me with 2 choices. I ended up choosing half a dozen of each choices. I would recommend coming here for happy hour otherwise the oysters are set at a market price. The service was amazing, with great atmosphere. Great spot for an event.

I have only had breakfast (twice) and it is NOT what you'd expect at a Four Seasons. Service is haphazard at best, long wait times, requires multiple asks to get it right. Nice people for sure and quality of food is pretty good. Poorly managed.

Hands down the WORST Four Seasons experience I have ever had globally; you should be ashamed of this property! Horrible service right off the bat with the hostess refusing to give us the table we had reserved; then giving us a terrible one next to the pool for an anniversary dinner (which they knew the occasion by the reservation). Cold, charred steak coated with congealed tallow… gross! Terrible overall.
Our first server Jacob was the only redeeming quality of the evening.
We had lunch today expecting a 5-star meal and service but everything was quite disappointing. While the food was decent, it was rather bland compared to the spicier and more flavorful options elsewhere in New Orleans. The view is beautiful, but unfortunately, the service was very poor and overshadowed everything else.
Our waiter, Junior K, spoke so quietly that we could barely hear him, even after asking multiple times for him to speak louder. The service was also slow and inattentive, making it one of the worst dining experiences we've had in New Orleans in years and we live here. It was embarrassing, especially since we were taking our nephew from India out for lunch, thinking this was one of our city's top restaurants.
To make matters worse, after spending $250 for three people, the waiter offered us a complimentary glass of champagne only after we had already mentioned that we were in a hurry. This gesture felt inappropriate and poorly timed.
While the view is nice, it simply cannot compensate for the subpar service and mediocre food. Sadly, we won’t be returning, as there are much better places to dine in New Orleans where both the food and service are far superior. I should have respected and heeded the reviews. You've been warned. 😂

I love this bar staff. I’d go back just for their service. Was there on Friday and Saturday morning.
Had all the coffee I could drink. Would be better if not out of a thermos but was fresh.
Blueberry pancakes were great.
Not cheap but you are at the Four Seasons.
Bloody Mary was perfect.

The food was pretty good. The service was absolutely horrible. 2:45 for a party of 5 on a Wednesday night.

Beautiful restaurant with river views at the Four Seasons. I love some of the lighter dishes like the crab salad with sauce chien. Super fresh and sustainable local seafood shines here. Chef Donald Link is a legend and this is his first hotel restaurant. The staff are so kind and friendly and I highly recommend visiting when you're in New Orleans.
A lot of food for a nice price.
