I am from NYC and this is one of the best observation experiences I've been to. Aside from the amazing view, the interactive exhibits leading up to the deck are fun & educational (learned a lot about the people, food, and music of New Orleans). A must-do if you have kids but it's also great for adults. I even learned how to pronounce "praline" correctly!
This place was so dope! I've seen immersive and interactive museums (Chicago & dc) but I love how unique this one was. It allowed you to "touch screen" without touching the screen! Also the concept of a sit down bar to learn about NOLA Food...and a music exhibit where the music literally plays put of an instrument in front of you...and a telescope that is virtual- not to mention a simulator where you can drive a barge through the mississipi (while learning)- all very cool!
