Chilaca Mexican Grill & Daiquiris

I had beef and nachos smothered in cheese sauce, were pretty good. Washed it down with a daiquiri that was awesome. Employee was very friendly and informative of the area. The restaurant was cluttered and could use more tables.

Small restaurant on Canal. Service was fast. Food was made to order & hot. Good place to stop for Tacos, nachos, hurricane drinks.

This place gave me the WORST food poisoning!!! I was sick for multiple days after eating here. I DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!!!

Kind of a hole in the wall place. Very limited menu, but the tacos were loaded and tasty. Not much in the way of beer, but they do offer daiquiris. Not a lot of seating, but none of it was taken when I was there. Nothing special, but nice if you just want a quick bite.

So good for a quick bite or late night snack. Great value! The loaded chicken tacos and Caribbean delight daiquiri were really good.

We happened upon this place while walking back to our room. Max and Chef Z were AWESOME! Max (videoed) was extremely hyper and fun! I swear those $11.99 nachos should have been $15!! I bet they weighed 3lbs or more each!! The atmosphere was very inviting and the place was clean given I was right by Bourbon st. Y’all, the restrooms were clean!!! We enjoyed the food and environment so much we went once more a few nights later to get our fix before leaving to head home the next morning. Don’t sleep on them! Max, you rock!

The owner is incredibly positive and nice. He absolutely loads your food with tons of toppings so you get your money's worth. And it's genuinely delicious too! The daiquiris were also nice. Went here twice on my vacation because me and my friend loved it so much. The price is also super reasonable especially compared to other more expensive places in the area, and it's right by the French Quarter! Loved the food here and the energy.

Hole in the wall style hispanic food.Burrito bowls, tacos, and nachos.They sell alcoholic slushies, they are okay. Food is over priced. Great location and opened until 4am!

Amazing food, customer service is above and beyond. The guy that we have interacted with the past two nights has been so nice. The food is so good and 100% worth the price, it is so cheap for how much food you get. Love this place and will be returning when I’m back in town.

Max was amazingly the best host ever we partied so hard at this corner Mexican food joint where food was superb and the drinks were even better. You will attract us Canadians at any time or day! Thank you for being amazing!!!

We visited this place twice on our most recent trip to new Orleans. We had a great time both trips. The food is great and on top of that the employees were fun and very friendly! They also serve frozen daiquiris that are delicious. Multiple different flavors available! Definitely recommend trying it!
