Bad Experience at Cinnaholic
I was extremely disappointed with my recent visit. I experienced a very long wait—over 40 minutes for just three items—and noticed that customers who arrived after me received their orders first. The staff at the front counter, specifically Arela, displayed a poor attitude and was not friendly. There was no acknowledgment of the delay, no apology, and no thanks. I ended up leaving with Luke warm order and will not be returning. Highly disappointing...read full review

Cinnaholic is a vegan bakery in New Orleans offering warm, soft, and customizable cinnamon rolls that are absolutely addictive and next-level delicious. Every flavor hits, from the classic to options like cookie butter, Strawberries & Cream, Peach Cobbler, Maple Frosted, and Very Berry. The rolls are made hot and fresh right out of the oven, featuring a perfect soft texture with edges that have a little firm crunch. They are often described as melting in the mouth and are filled with cream cheese throughout. The icing is everything. The establishment uses fresh fruit and provides a huge variety, ensuring there is something unforgettable for everyone, including cookie dough by the scoop in flavors like snickerdoodle.
The spot is cute, quaint, and clean, located in a shotgun house with a couple of tables both inside and on the front porch. The energy inside is sweet and pure joy, with aromas that tell you life will never be the same. It is a woman-owned and family-owned business, where you can feel the love, hustle, and creativity in every bite. Service is excellent, warm, welcoming, quick, and genuinely excited to help you build your dream cinnamon roll, making customers feel like family. The location has a wheelchair lift for accessibility. Parking is street parking only, which is typical for the city.
Overall, it is highly recommended as the best vegan cinnamon roll in the area, a destination for a sweet treat other than ice cream. Whether vegan, lactose intolerant, or not, you won't know the difference with these plant-based treats. It is a place worth running to for an addictive and delicious experience.
