Overall... Good service, good food and good atmosphere. After a long day of traveling, we decided to stay close to the hotel and give Clarinet Bistro a try. We had the seafood pasta and the salmon. The food was seasoned appropriately, tasted great and had a good presentation. The staff was friendly and accommodating... And the atmosphere was pleasant.

The food tasted great. However, my wife’s first margarita and my first double whiskey were both unquestionably watered down. I know this because our second round almost burned like they should have, but we’re still slightly watered down. For $20 per drink, I expect something stiff.

4 stars for the Service
Javier was my server, he has been here 14 years. I stayed here at the Holiday Inn Superdome 2 years ago to celebrate my 50th birthday and the food in the Clarinet Bistreaux was DELICIOUS!!
So of course I returned for my birthday 2 yrs later.
Food Quality was Not good. Maybe they have new Cooks.
They literally put like 5 peppers and onions in the potatoes lol
Wow.
Just find another restaurant.
It's plenty to choose from in Nola✌🏽

This review is specific to the coffee stand. The menu sign says the price for a 16oz cappuccino is $8. When I ordered that exact thing, no additional flavors or anything special, we were told “that’ll be $10.52” ummmm…”is your tax 25% here?” The barista said “there’s a $1 CUP CHARGE plus 10% sales tax”. The math isn’t mathing, ma’am. And the cappuccino was yuck.

Stopped in for a cup of coffee while I was waiting for my bus. It's a run of the mill hotel coffee stand so I was expecting run of the mill hotel coffee but what I recieved was so remarkably disgusting. I order a regular dip coffee and the coffee tasted like it was sweeten with cough syrup. And a 16 oz was $7.75. $7.75 for what is leagues beyond gas station coffee in a crappy hotel's crappy bar. I wouldn't have left a negative review if the coffee was a responsible $3 but it was $7.75! With no prices listed. I'm literally never spending another cent in holiday ever again over this.

How this place wasn't packed is beyond me. Hands down the absolute best cinnamon roll french toast and pancakes in the city.

While waiting to check into my room, I decided to check out the restaurant here. The wait for food orders were over a 40-minute wait, so I just grabbed a drink. The bartender was nice and held good conversation while still attending to other customers. I decided on something simple as a French 75. It had a tangy sweet taste from the lemon. She was not skimping on the liquor, so I felt nice after a few sips. I heard good things about the food but didn't get the opportunity to try it.

Waited 1h to get a table. 30 to 45mins just for them to take our order. Another 1h for them to bring our food out. What's worst is that they served the customer that came after us. Which is horribly rude as we've been waiting patiently but they served the customer who was being loud more. So be loud so they serve y first. Overall very disappointing. And wouldn't recommend this place to anybody as it was slow and the service didn't care about you unless you complain to the server. So if you eat Here complain!!! To get your order

I honestly believe if I had eaten here more than once, EVERYTHING would taste as delicious as the first time. But, due to limitations, I must leave the stars at 4, until that day. The service was beyond accommodating. I was my usual picky, needy, demanding self and created a dream in my mind not available on the menu. The waiter listened, really listened, and brought me a never before concocted, absolutely delicious, completely satisfying combination of flavors I can only now attempt to convey. Anyway, ignore the 'hotel restaurant' disincentive and treat yourself. You will return and you will understand my passion.
