Waited 1h to get a table. 30 to 45mins just for them to take our order. Another 1h for them to bring our food out. What's worst is that they served the customer that came after us. Which is horribly rude as we've been waiting patiently but they served the customer who was being loud more. So be loud so they serve y first. Overall very disappointing. And wouldn't recommend this place to anybody as it was slow and the service didn't care about you unless you complain to the server. So if you eat Here complain!!! To get your order

I honestly believe if I had eaten here more than once, EVERYTHING would taste as delicious as the first time. But, due to limitations, I must leave the stars at 4, until that day. The service was beyond accommodating. I was my usual picky, needy, demanding self and created a dream in my mind not available on the menu. The waiter listened, really listened, and brought me a never before concocted, absolutely delicious, completely satisfying combination of flavors I can only now attempt to convey. Anyway, ignore the 'hotel restaurant' disincentive and treat yourself. You will return and you will understand my passion.

I would give the overall experience 2 stars. It was a party of me, just me and my friend, and we were just trying to pass time after checking out. We were kindly greeted by the host and quickly sat. Then the server greeted us with a lukewarm greeting, as in wasn't warm but at least said hello. Leon (servers name) kind of knew the menu items but we all forget things so that was just. hiccup. We ordered our food and waited. The server brought the appetizers then asked what we ordered for our meals, so clearly he forgot to ring them in. Must of been because he made a comment about how hungry we were (in other words ordering a lot of food for two) . After looking at the time, noticing the table after us got their food, and the server somewhat admitting to forgetting to ring in our food, we kindly asked for the items to be removed and for the check as our uber was going to be here in about 15-20 minutes. The server walked away without any words spoken and yells from the kitchen door to the staff "never mind on those items, the table doesn't want it anymore." We laughed it off but not even 30 seconds later the lady in the kitchen came to the door way and just stared. This is complete unprofessional as we only cancelled because Leon failed to ring in our food in a timely manner. Speaking back on the appetizers, it tasted like off brand frozen food that was under fried and thrown on a plate of soggy lettuce. We ordered the mozzarella sticks and mac n cheese bites. Overall, not a good experience staff wise or food wise. It was not busy, maybe 3-4 tables here, around 10 people max. So none of this was expected or appreciated. There is plenty of food places in the area that would be well worth the short walk! I hope this review helps those visiting the area.

Food was tasty and service was fast. This was a convenient breakfast option for those staying as guest at the Holiday Inn hotel downtown.

We came around 8pm. Waitress was an angel but the food given to my children was evil, she didn't know I guess. They let children eat free but that's the last time I agree to such an offer unless its grandma. I tried their chicken strips too. We spent the last two days throwing up and dealing with diarrhea, the cheapest liquor never made me throw up like this.

I can't say enough positive things about this restaurant, especially the bartenders/bar area. The restaurant was conveniently located inside my hotel with incredibly engaging staff. Shout out to Max and Alex for their outstanding customer service and great sense of humor.

Easily the worst restaurant we've been to in New Orleans. First we wait to be seated... and wait... and wait... finally getting seated after 1 of the 5 servers that passed by saw we were waiting. We then get served by Sierra. She gets our orders wrong, doesn't split the tab like we asked several times, disappears for long periods of time and overcharges the table. The food sucked. Hollandaise sauce is closer to glue than sauce and the chicken is so dry it could strip paint. Avoid at all costs.

The thing that stood out to me about The Clarinet was the King Cake flavoring; I had that flavor in an iced latte every single morning we were in NOLA and it was just what I needed to start my day. I love the fact that the decoration is the actual front of a street car. Every time we ordered, the staff were polite and made our coffee fairly quickly which was super convenient. Even if we don't stay at the Holiday Inn next time, I'll still make sure to stop by The Clarinet.

The food was ok but not exceptional, at least for my taste. We arrived late around 9pm and it took a bit of a time before the waiters acknowledged us. The service was fine but we really felt as if the waiters were in a hurry to finish their night.
