Ordered an appetizer and an entree and absolutely loved the food. This looks like it’s a newly built and opened restaurant. I would definitely recommend giving them a visit if you love some Mediterranean food.

Cleo's specialises in Medditeranean food. I had the fried Cauli as a starter and beef kebab as a main course. The food was delicious with an honorary mention to the hummus. Five stars for the food. The restaurant is clean and well laid out. Our waitress was very good but they lose a star because she was on her own running front of house, bringing meals, clearing tables, the works. We saw several potential diners move on because there was no one to meet them and seat them. Maybe a bit short staffed? If you are prepared to be patient you will be rewarded with an excellent feed.

The vegan food here is amazing! If the vegan option is this good, I can only imagine how the meat dishes taste. I tried the fried eggplant platter, and it was incredibly filling highly recommend it if you’re vegan. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in NOLA!

Delicious grilled grouper with shrimp served on a bed of sautéed vegetables , a green side salad and served with pita bread and hummus as the appetizer. Impeccable yet friendly service , great food , especially for the prices . Wide selection of dishes of all kinds of. Something to delight anyone ! Lebanese Iced Tea was delicious and the desserts excellent . Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a Mediterranean lunch or dinner !

Cleo’s Mediterranean is a gem if you are looking for a break from traditional! Just off lower Canal on Decatur, Cleo’s is walkable from anywhere in the Quarter, or the Business District. For our meal, we had the hummus, roasted cauliflower, and chicken shawarma with tzatziki. The pita is perfectly puffy and light, the hummus creamy and tzatziki zesty! The chicken shawarma was perfectly season. This was a nice light meal on a hot New Orleans August evening. Just what we were looking for. Props to Orion, our host for excellent hospitality and service!

Nice place. The Lebne yogurt spread and bread was very good. The lentil soup was more Egyptian style not Turkish. The gyro meat dish wasnt made with a Turkish recipe like the menu stated. It was a better version of Greek Gyros. The salad was 100% . They served yellow rice not the Turkish white pilav. The ice tea has sweet rose water in it . So if thats something you dont prefer tell the waiter.
I would come back again. ! My waiter Orion was very sincere and attentive.

While at the recent LCMS youth gathering in New Orleans, I took a group of 7 teens and 2 adults to Cleo’s and it was fantastic! They were very welcoming and we were able to make a reservation, which was a rare find. The kids mostly got the big platters which were so much food! I ordered a gyro wrap and it was a perfect amount. And their hummus was quite honestly the best hummus I have ever had. I would definitely return to eat here again!
