One word: DELICIOUS! Had the pleasure of attending a pop up event today where the "crazy waffle bar" was a vendor and I just need to YELL that this strawberry shortcake was delicious. My friend had the snicker doodle crazy waffle and had to buy two because she was in complete awe! This is the cutest idea I have every seen plus it's a black owned business! Way to go! Y'all better get y'all some! #blackownedbusiness

Man oh man!!!! What an amazing day this was??? The weather was fantastic, the atmosphere was great & the food was phenomenal. I started my day with the intent to FINALLY make it here and I did!!! I opted for waffles, but got a whole lot more. Loved seeing BLACK FEMALE vendors doing their thing and selling their wares. Let's go Ladies!!!! In particular, THE CRAZY WAFFLE BAR was like no other. I've had waffles, but not like these. They were succulent, fluffy, full of flavor and just what I needed not too much not too little. The toppings that I selected from a wide variety of toppings was whip cream and strawberries... I mean you really can't go wrong with whip cream or strawberries, together or separate, but that's a review for another time. I was able to place my order using the menu that was set before me, and the young man asked me to have a seat he would deliver the food to me once it was done. The preparation time was almost nonexistent. By the time I sat down and whipped out my phone to snap it up, you know I had to get some photos, the food was being delivered to me. I was able to pay via mobile application by CashApping the establishment... Super easy for me... I sat for a minute more, and I with all of my utensils in place, I had everything that I needed. The young man asked if I needed any other condiments or anything else. I told him no, he thanked me for my patronage and I was prepared to leave. But before I left, I had to take a little bite, just a little piece... it looked too good to just pack it up and go. And since I couldn't wait until I got to my next stop to eat, I opted to indulge myself. And I was not disappointed, as I stated it was fluffy, light, moist and it melted in my mouth; it didn't scratch the roof of my mouth like some of the waffles. And I didn't even need the syrup. I could've eaten it rolled it over into a burrito and eaten it just like that it was sooooooo finger licking good... I definitely will be back and I will make it my business to patronize the other vendors because I am 100% in support of the entrepreneurial community here in New Orleans.
