We really enjoyed out dinner at Crescent City Steakhouse. I liked the traditional "old school" atmosphere, steaks were delicious served on a plate of hot butter! Drinks were well made and reasonably priced.

Great old traditional New Orleans prime steakhouse. Not “fancy” but always great. Busiest nights are loud.

Crescent City is our “go to” place for a steak. The value is most excellent and the atmosphere is tremendous.

Is there any better value in a steakhouse anywhere? Prime beef everything – including the filet (check other steakhouses... the filet is not prime at most high-end steakhouses) – at price points 25%-30% less than other steakhouses. "Extra cut" larger steaks are still less expensive than regular-sized steaks at other prime meat purveyors. Anthony, our waiter, is a gem! CC, the original in New Orleans, is a true classic!

Steaks were cooked perfectly as ordered and very good. Au graten spinach was really good. Service was over the top good. Great food and great value for the quality of food you get.

Good food and drinks. Timely served. Simple menu that is not pretentious, just good. Noise level could be lower. Ample parking. Will be back

Crescent City is the best place in New Orleans to eat steak. The restaurant is very well run by Anthony who has worked his whole life to make sure you have a great meal. The steaks are delicious, the sides are the perfect size and the cocktails are made of good liquor. The staff are quiet and prompt with service while being courteous. This is the only place I ever consider taking friends to for any special occasion or if I dine with just my family.

The steak was cooked just right and the sides were hot and fresh. Try the onion rings that they are known for, too! The restaurant kept some of the old quaint charm with the booths with curtains when they came back from Katrina flooding. The service was attentive and very nice. Go and experience some old NOLA charm and get a great steak!

Enjoyed our meal and was able to communicate well with each other plus the culinary pricing was unexpected but great. We will be dining again in the near future.

Best bang for your buck in this historic mid-city steak house. Steaks come sizzling on your plate and the sides are scrumptious. Easy parking, which is a plus.

Good, solid food experience. Well done food preparation and decent ambiance if a bit noisy with juke box background sound.

Top notch steak. Plenty of dudes from which to choose. Each delectable. Spot on service. Excellent drinks!

Have been eating and referring countless tables to CCSteak for 30yrs. The total fail was shocking. I feel strongly that meal should not have been charged for. Staff were apologetic, and management was professional. However the meal was not enjoyable. FYI a total fail is: 3 tables sat after us, while we were on appetizers, they all finished and left before we got our steak. We were last table in restaurant still waiting, over an hour and half for a steak. First excuse "they're cutting fresh steaks". 30 min later second excuse "it's being plated now" 20 mins later a completely wrong/different order comes out! "who had the NY strip?" Not us!!! Then we were asked "what was your order again?"after already waiting over an hour for it, and being told twice it was coming shortly. When the correct order finally came we ate in an empty restaurant. Sad UPDATE: ownership reached out and have provided a $50 gift certificate. Which is welcome.
