The smell of the good food hits your nose as soon as you walk thru the door. Everything is fresh and delicious. They even have a wide variety of beverages to match the wide variety of food. Everything is hot and ready to go during lunch. The ladies are friendly and professional. It's clean and affordable. I ate there 2 in 3 days. And have something different both days and still wanted to try more. I will definitely be back. Great find.
The food is good, but the service is poor. They're always rushing, which causes them to forget the crackers & hot sauce I ordered with my gumbo. Then they had the nerve to charge me extra, when I had to go back inside to ask for crackers & hot sauce! Ridiculous!

I always loved orchid until my experience the other day. I bought 3 plates, fried rice, drinks, cake, and gumbo.I asked a question about the gumbo the lady at the register seemed to be annoyed. But the problem came when I asked for duck sauce lol.
