Friday night in the French Quarter, good luck finding a parking spot! Saw James Andrew's Crescent City All Stars' Jazz Band! Very intertaining with audience participation. Large crowd, various ages dancing & drinking & having fun
d.b.a. is one of a handful of great music venues in my regular rotation when I'm in NOLA, which is quite often lately. It's busy, but rarely packed to the walls, perhaps because there are so many other venues with music as well as restaurants on Frenchmen's Street. They always have top tier NOLA talent and the sound is really good. The venue is sort of a split shotgun with a bar on each side, music on the left. Good people for sure.
It is a great place to listen to some Jazz bands. The space is not that big, but enough to see when someone is playing. There are no tables, just the bars. The service is good and they take good care of you. They have some draft beer options and I liked that. I really enjoyed this place.
