Went to dinner with my husband and a friend, and the ambiance was perfect. We sat outside, it was a lovely evening, enjoyed the delicious food (the chips are THE BEST). And the margaritas are fabulous.

Great service, charge a living wage, and the best Mexican food in the city! The guacamole is the freshest and tastiest! The drinks are made with the best and freshest ingredients! Everything I have tasted there has been excellent!

Visiting from out of state for work so I picked this place on a whim (and because of great reviews). SO glad I did. I'm a foodie, so it takes quite a bit to impress me. I was definitely impressed with DEL FUEGO. Every server in the place helped me, as it seems they all work together. Salsas were amazing. Tacos were incredible. Restaurant was clean with a great vibe. I may make this my dinner spot again tonight!

I brought a friend to eat at Del Fuego for her first time and we all enjoyed our meal. She definitely said she will return when she's back in town. We had margaritas, trio salsa, grilled chicken and grilled shrimp quesadillas. Absolutely delicious and great friendly service as always

Worst experience ever! Allowed me to book a reservation for 8:00 on CINCO DE MAYO. Called ahead of time at 7:00. No answer. Call a $20 Uber to get over there, just to receive a "we're closed". Would recommend 0/0 times and wouldn't go here unless you were desperate to have a terrible experience.

Literally the BEST of the BEST! Every menu item is quality ingredients and absolutely delicious. Not only do I have a go to favorite (grilled fish Shanimal burrito) I also am prone to try any and everything on the menu! It's all sooo good! And literally have THE BEST margaritas I've ever had! Ever. They are fresh squeezed deliciousness! The staff is amazing! And they take covid precautions seriously - which I very much appreciate! I highly recommend to any and all!

Awesome food and fabulous drinks. The mezcal selection is great and the margaritas are BOMB! Definitely the best Mexican in uptown!

This is one of those restaurants tucked out of the way of publicity and geography that stands out simply because the food is good, the ambience laid back with friendly service. I don't eat Mexican food often but the next time I do, we'll return.

Too much noise from the bar next door. Food was great and servers were very nice. Not a fan of the 22% mandatory living wage(tip). Always tip 20% but that's a turnoff. Will go again in spite of that.

I love this place! My friend and I get together to have margaritas and eat the amazing enchiladas often. The living wage service charge makes my heart smile as a Californian. The service is always great and the one time we met the chef he was awesome. Thanks for everything you do!

We went for brunch. You can either order off the brunch or regular menu. Depending on what you order, the portions can be big. The burrito is a perfect size for someone who’s hungry. Quesadilla is a good size for the price. The tacos came a La carte and were similar to torchy’s (which is a great spot!). Their strawberry margarita was okay and a little pricey for the taste. The crawfish queso could have been more flavorful. There is a big water glass for everyone to fill their own glass up. Just fyi for foodies, they do charge a 22 percent gratuity. I rate this three stars because it was not insulting but I probably won’t go back because the price isn’t that great to pay for the food and there are other local spots that have amazing food.

I've been here twice in the past month, and loved each time immensely. The service is great, the food is great, the drinks are great, the prices are great, and the atmosphere is great. All around 5 stars from me! If you haven't been here, you should go. Period. First visit; starving and in a rush to make my appointment time, I asked to sit at the bar. The bar is closed for seating, but I was able to snag a small table with the most beautiful decor on the walls/ceiling. The server/bartender was AMAZINGLY understanding of my "I want take out but will eat here since it's not the best weather outside". She had me in/out quick! She was so nice and super pleasant. I know they have the living wage % added to the bill (kudos to the owner for that!), but I tip on top of that anyway because she ROCKS. I ordered their cauliflower taco, shrimp taco, hibiscus margarita, and chips w/ guacamole. Everything was so delicious! You can tell it's all handmade, including their "chips" which are tortillas... like they're supposed to be. I do have to say that I only needed one taco because the portions were larger than I anticipated, but I'm not mad I ordered two and had to take one to go. Second visit; my husband and I juuuuust missed their brunch time, but that's OK. He was pleasantly surprised to see an eggroll burrito on the menu, and couldn't help but order it. I'm not all that for meat-stuff, but I had to try it after I saw it on the table. Definitely different, and thankfully, definitely delicious! I ordered chips & queso and a shrimp taco. Mmmmmm! Of course I had to get the hibiscus margarita again, because it's amazing. I don't remember which drink my husband ordered, but he loved it. Can't wait to go back again, soon! I just wish I lived closer, because I would probably eat there ALL.THE.TIME.
