Pretty chill spot. Wasn't very busy on a Tuesday evening before a Pelicans game. It's a 10-minute walk if you're here for a Saints or Pelicans game. Food and beer were decent. Had the pleasure of dining here for lunch. We split a 2 meat combo (chaurice sausage and pulled pork) with a side of pimento cheese grits. Both meats were delicious with great flavor! The grits were creamy and good. Service was quick, too. Alittle pricey, but I definitely recommend it if you're in the city.
Had a brisket sandwich at a catered event and was surprised how simiar it was to what we had when we lived in TX ( like Sonny Bryan's Dallas). Will definitely try them out. One thing I have found at some BBQ places is despite good BBQ the potato salad is never quite as good as it could be-- like classic southern. Also for many resaurants in NOLA their motto seems to be 'big price little food' unfortunately. Need man-size servings not kiddy meals!
