I paid $18 for one meat plate and received 3 tiny pieces of chicken. I called this restaurant and was told it was a half pound, absolutely not!!!! The Veterans location blows this location away! Robbery is what they do to their customers. Never again.

Is this a joke? Went around 4pm they had no ribs. I got the brisket and omg it was tuff as a brick the color look like ham. And the pul pork was to die for, no I really mean it. The worst ? ? I've ever tried. Dry, unseason. I feed it to the garage can and got my 25.00 ice cream cone and left.

Whenever I need a good burger, brisket or some sort of smoked meat and I’m in the harahan Area, Dickies is always my go to! The staff is always attentive, kind, and has made right on any mistakes on my order. Jason and daejane are truly outstanding when it comes to customer service and I always try and go when they, or Travell are working. They are very warm and welcoming.

Had 3 sizeable bones in a pulled pork sandwich. I'm lucky I didn't break teeth. It could stand to be cleaned up some. Understaffed. Wildly inconsistent. Sometimes they have fries sometimes they don't. This time my sandwich was on Texas toast instead of a bun. Last two times I went it was much cleaner and didn't have a mess at the sauce stations and ice cream all over the floor. Probably my last visit for quite awhile.

Menu differs from the one i found online by a little, and the way its set up in store is mildly confusing...BUT that being said, our food was freaking delicious. I got the western with brisket and chicken....phenomenal. And lets talk about that sauce, all of it was AMAZING, the spicy and the sweet but especially the sweet. The way it partnered with that tender, flavorful meat, just absolutely delicious. The food was out super quick too. We were very happy. This place also seems to offer free ice cream which i was too stuffed to eat but I thought that was a really cool feature. The staff were kind as well.
