Drago's Seafood Restaurant - Hilton New Orleans Riverside

Oysters were superb!! The butter and garlic juice under the oysters is the “Mother Load”! Soak it up with the excellent bread!! WOW!! Seafood Gumbo was the bomb!! Bloody Mary fantastic!! Our waitress was very good!! Fabulous place to eat!! I've traveled the country and ate in hundreds of restaurants and Drago's is in my Top 5!! Don't miss it!!

Food was ok. Was expecting a little fancier but felt like a big open hotel ball room. Little character. Gator tacos were good. Crab salad was a little skimpy on crab for $19.00

Rather ordinary food, service and ambiance. Not great but not terrible. Service rather slow.

Food and service were excellent. It was my husbands first time there and he had only good things to say.

I've never experienced such poor service in almost any restaurant before. I understand in this Drago's , there is an extremely long walk to the kitchen, but you still have to actually go get our food for us to have it. Entire tables got their entrees before my son and I received our two cold appetizers... and the waitress kept saying she would go check on them....and refill my son's water (25min). She simply would not go get our items. I didn't bother to order an entree, but being my sons first time at Draggos, I did agree to let him order a dessert.. it did not arrive before he had to return to his conference.. and again I watched for 35 min while yet another table sat ordeed and receive appetizers ( not just oysters ), and nearly finish before the dessert arrived, which I then boxed to go. 1.74 hours for two with a reservation . Just overall an massive letdown.

Service was pretty bad. Server took our order but never came back to check on us. Other servers had to jump in and help. Very disappointed especially with the price point here.

Still the best oysters in the business !! We had an amazing time and can't wait to visit again.

The food was good and but, by NOLA standards, not exceptional. Service was a bit slow at first and we twice had to ask for bread with the gumbo. Music was terribly loud from the overhead speakers but, when we asked if the volume. could be turned down, it was. While I did enjoy the gumbo, this would not be my first place of choice to eat in NOLA. However, it is confidently located in the Hilton Riverside so, since it was a cold/windy day, eating there was the best decision.

The best, and I mean THE BEST charbroiled oysters you will find. I have been thinking about them since my last visit almost 10 years ago and they still held up. Service was impeccable, our server Deborah was super sweet, and all the food was delicious. 100% recommend

Do not miss Drago's when you're in New Orleans! The food is delicious and impeccably served. With a variety of meal choices, you'll be sure to enjoy traditional New Orleans fare in a great setting.

Heather 10/10 amazing server very pretty and took care of us really well went fort 21st birthday and she was so kind and made sure we were good!

We ordered charbroiled oysters, crab au gratin dip, gator bites, and a crab grilled cheese sandwich. The oysters were cooked perfectly and tasted great with a dollop of Tabasco. The crab au gratin was rich, but very good. The crab grilled cheese was on another level with the cheese sauce you dipped it in being phenomenal. And of course, the gator bites were to die for. But we weren’t done yet. We decided to order the crawfish fest which consisted of fried crawfish, crawfish etoufee, and crawfish mac Ave cheese. The fried crawfish was OK, the mac and cheese was excellent, but the star was definitely the etoufee. And our server Heather was an absolute gem, making sure our drinks were full, and if we needed anything else. Truly great service. Highly recommend if you are in New Orleans.

We had James and Dwight did an excellent job with our oysters, and they were very friendly and entertaining. Overall 5/5 experience would highly recommend, delicious food!

James is the best chargriller in town! The rest of the staff are professional and provide excellent customer service! Can’t wait to return!
