The best part of the 2 meat combo were the homemade pickles and Carolina gold BBQ sauce. The \"shredded chicken\" was a dry cut up boneless chicken breast. The pork was a rather flavorless mush. The coleslaw was a disappointment ... Nothing going on for it, just cabbage and vinegar. Were these meats smoked at all? My partner and I couldn't pick up any trace of smoke. Not sure the direction they were going with here, but it wasa big let down. I will give them another try to be fair.

This place is great. A much needed spark for the New Orleans BBQ scene. Never had “beef cheek” before going here. Basically a softer version of brisket, very succulent. It’s a must try for BBQ-lovers. Even my girlfriend (who’s vegan) had plenty of options, which is rare for any BBQ spots I’ve been to. 10/10 will be going back!

We ordered it all - The beef cheek, turkey, and jalapeno sausage are out of this world. For sides, highly recommend the pimento and potato salad, both of which are unique in flavor and unlike anything else we can get in New Orleans. True Texas style flavor - this Shannon guy gets it.

Fantastic! The beef cheek was unbelievably tender, my son loved the burger and I went back the next day for the Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage - one again, just amazing. I really love bbq and this place just gets it. Really cool find.

Love the Turkey! Also pimento cheese with candied jalepenos make a great option over cocktails. Delightful new addition to the market. Conveniently tucked across from the bar.

The best bbq I've had in NOLA. The smoked beef cheek is hands down one of the best cuts of beef I've ever had. The jalapeño/cheddar sausage really shines especially as a sandwich with all the fixings. Definitely try the cheeseburger which is made from ground beef cheeks. Last time I went I did myself a favor and grabbed a beer from the bar across the hall and took my time chowing on this delicious bbq. Highly recommend!
