Love having coffee in non chain cafes. Rustic, exposed brick work. Choice of sitting inside or half in half out! Friendly staff. Avocado toast needed more avocado or would have been a 5.
Shrimp and grits were the best I had in Nawlins. Good coffee. It's a great stop over with lots of options including full plated foods, not just cafe items.
Only one issue with this place is a lack of communication at counter regarding how the food/drink get to you. They kind of pull out a big wooden block while you're ordering but don't tell you to take it (it's a number, but didn't see it the way it was sort of slid our way.) And when...

We've been here twice during our visit to New Orleans. Excellent service! Delicious breakfast and coffee. Inexpensive for what you get! Highly recommend the creole Country breakfast!
