First, the service was absolutely horrendous.It was so slow and there was only one waiter, so we attributed it to that.

I ordered the taste of new orleans with red beans and rice, sausage, gumbo, and crawfish ettouffe. The red beans and rice were good. The rest was horrible. Waiter did not even come back to our table and ask us how our food was.

The only reason we stop was because of the young man at the door!!! Very charming and inviting! Atmosphere was very friendly, good food, oysters were better than Dragos... Definitely worth a visit.

It looked a little shabby from the street, but once we walked in it was homey and cozy. The waiter was so friendly and joked around too, they made us feel at home. The food was amazing. The steak was perfect and the crab cakes were the best we had in New Orleans. The chef came out too, and he was so nice also. It felt like a neighborhood restaurant, not super touristy like most in the area.
