It's an Irish pub. The service is great, the drinks flow, and the pours are heavy. Go have a drink and enjoy .

I go to Fahy's a few nights a week. Tonight was slow. Four people at the bar.A lady that I often see there orders a drink. After that the bartender goes outside to hang out with his friends and smoke.I'm ready for another after 15 minutes and so is this woman. She eventually goes outside to ask the bartender for another and he returns, makes her drink and called her an " ugly old woman"!!!!She paid and left and I left as well!I'm certain that she will never return and neither will I!There are a zillion bars in New Orleans and absolutely no one deserves this treatment, especially if they come to a bar regularly.

One of the best bars in the French Quarter, off the beaten path and the prices are great!

Don't buy the drinks on Bourbon Street. Go to Fahy's Irish pub. They have the cheapest drinks. If you are OK with a mixed crowd of ppl (and I do mean "mixed"- you name it and they will be here), then you will be OK. The drinks are worth it. And they have a pool table.

This is definitely one of my favorite local bars in New Orleans. Nothing super special, just some pool tables, dart boards, and video poker machines but it’s great. It’s usually full of locals but very chill during the day. We come here every time we’re in town.

It's definitely a dive bar. The drinks are reasonably priced compared to bars on Bourbon St, 2 blocks over. The size of the cocktails are also larger than those on Bourbon St.

The upside is they have two steel tipped dart targets. The downside is that they are both worn out. Ever hit a red bulls eye or triple 20, only to watch your dart fall out on the floor? I did, a number of times, a couple of weeks ago. The place has locals who can get loud sometimes, but that is part of the charm of the place. Standard fare drinks for the area and a better pool table than dart board.

I stopped in for a beer after a long hot walk. Fahy’s Irish Pub was a very welcoming sight. The decor is very old-school, in the best possible way. Very friendly folks and a wide selection of cold beer. Their prices are also very reasonable. I did not see any food but if they do serve it I would bet it’s first rate also. I will be back.Vegetarian options: I did not see any foodDietary restrictions: I did not see food here but ask about restrictions before you orderParking: Some street parking and paid garages in areaKid-friendliness: May be able to enter with permission but can’t drink alcoholWheelchair accessibility: Somewhat accessible

Came in to play pool with my family on our vacation. I loved how the bartender played music that we liked. Beers were $4 which was a definite plus. The restroom was very small.
