Fat Boy Pantry Reviews
My first time there, the cashier wrote herself a $4 dollar tip. I actually want to get a feel for the place but I will never go there again.
Philly Cheese steak poboy...with handcut fries...delicious.
outside seating. ..nope, sitting at a table in the ditch along a very busy street with cars zooming past...nahhhh
they have inside seat available but the worker at the register (owner?) told me inside seating wasn't open "this afternoon due to a large party coming in..."
they never showed the whole time I ate outside over the dirty ditch.
food great, I'll take mine ToGo next time unless inside is available.
Casual and easy in-and-out. Friendly staff. Delicious lobster tail poboy. Beer selection is fun. It’s kinda like the Lower Garden District version of Verti Marte. Just go try it.

Fat Boy Pantry is a small restaurant, hence the name pantry. It offers dishes like the U r Philly and pepper and egg po boy. The homemade fries are a standout, and the peanut butter and dark chocolate ice cream is a must-try. The atmosphere may be different than expected, with limited variety in ice cream and premade adult beverages that taste watery. The cashier and staff are pleasant, and the overall experience is average. Recently, a customer praised Tony for providing excellent service, great recommendations, and making the food himself, despite being the only person working. The restaurant’s quality and value make it a worthwhile stop for a satisfying meal, especially for those seeking a good ole lobster roll or a flavorful po boy. Parking is limited to street parking.
