In town for the first weekend of the 2025 New Orleans Jazz Festival, and after spending the morning and afternoon at the Festival I walked through Frenchmen Street (a few blocks from the French Market streetcar stop). The bar had just opened (it was around 6 p.m.) and the house band was tuning up when I walked past, as they covered the Allman Brothers’ Band’s You Don’t Love Me. I'm trying not to be salty because I remember this place as Yuki. Completely different thing and that's ok. Bar hopping for bands and no cover we heard the brass band from the street. It was early so not much of a crowd. Kudos for doing an impromptu jam session with someone who really wanted to sing blue bird, and looked the part. Just got a couple of drinks and listened for awhile before moving on.

I only go to see Jamie Vessels. As it were, I visited twice in one week.
Yuenling bottle is $6... Probably $4 less than in the Quarter.
