The Monday night chicken is really great! We've been multiple times. This time the service was not great. Waiter was only concerned with tables larger than 2. Chicken wasn't as hit as it should have been, but cook and flavor fantastic.

Everything was wonderful! We were greeted warmly and seated immediately. Our server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food menu and drink menu. Our food was delicious. About halfway through our meal, we started to notice that the noise level was a little high, but totally didn't feel that way at first. That being said, we enjoyed the piano very much. Would definitely recommend.

Went here one night for dinner while staying at the hotel and it took over an hour for our food to come from kitchen and my wife never got hers. Manager was helpful in trying to get it resolved as there were issues in the kitchen and comped dessert, but would expect much better experience at a restaurant within a 5 star hotel and we ended up leaving before her dinner ever even came. Place is good for drinks and live piano but our food experience was terrible.

The restaurant's ambiance could be move inviting. There is no sense of intimacy; the tables are too large. Also the pianist should not dominate the room. Doesn't need to be mic'ed. The music should be in the background. The fried chicken was tasty, but the drinks menu does not complement the food being served.

We chose the buffet, I ordered sweet tea, the waitress never brought it or came back. We motioned for her and asked for it again, she said "we don't have sweet tea", so I ordered a coke instead. She never brought it and never came back to the table. We asked the host to please get me a coke, he did and was very nice. We never got coffee refills and had to wave her down to get our check. We were supposed to eat there again on Sunday morning but cancelled the reservation and went somewhere else.

Music too loud, very slow service, food and cocktail terrible. My cocktail tasted like it had soap in it. Caesar salad tasted nothing like a Caesar salad, shrimp cocktail; the shrimp were too salty and not cold enough.

We ordered drinks and the entree came out before we were served our cocktails. The fried chicken and red beans were very good. We ordered and extra side of beans and split the half a chicken.

We had a breakfast credit and decided to use it at the Fountain Lounge. They offered a brunch buffet on the day we were there, Saturday, but we decided to get something off their normal menu as we weren't that hungry. The crawfish and tasso ham omelet was jam-packed with ingredients and tasted great. It came with toast, potatoes, and a small arugula salad. I could not finish all my food - that's how much food they gave.

Monday night fried chicken is amazing! Some of the best we have ever eaten. Several pieces in an order, along with delicious biscuits, cole slaw, red beans and rice. Service was excellent. Really enjoyed the piano player/singer as well.

We specifically went for Monday's fried chicken dinner. The food was really good. I'm very picky with eating coleslaw or red beans and rice, but these were really good! The chicken was crispy and hot! The person singing and playing the piano was very good.

We had a reservation at 11:15. We arrived at 11:10 and were told our table would be ready soon. We were not seated until 45 mins later. The hostess acted like we were annoying her when asking for an update on when we would be seated and was downright rude. She even rolled her eyes at me and didn't even speak to us when she sat us at the table. I would hate to think someone visiting our city would be treated so poorly. The manager was very gracious and apologetic for the extreme delay. Our server was very pleasant and our food was good.

Food was GREAT! Service at hostess desk/check-in was AWFUL! We had reservations and multiple people were seated before us without reservations along with people waiting longer being skipped over due to no set process. The hostess was unapologetic and not welcoming or customer service oriented. We mentioned to the manager that she should not be the first face for everyone coming in. Table service was perfect. Breakfast buffet offerings were plentiful and better than expected.

Great food and atmosphere. Very classy. To top it off, Eddie, the host, played piano for us (and he is an amazing pianist who played 90s classics from Whitney, KC & Jojo, Boyz II Men, etc. Definitely will come back next time I'm in NOLA!

Valet was amazing, but the hostess seemed put out by our presence. Wait staff seemed overworked. We didn't get water until we were nearly finished eating. We probably won't return.
